Regional Diagnostics and
Consultation Centre

The Regional Diagnostics and Consultation Centre was founded at 1988 at the initiative of Academician E. Chazov. It is a leading diagnostics institution in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Centre has a highly qualified staff and modern diagnostics equipment. It also a well-recognised establishment for education and training of medical professionals. More than 125 doctors working in three consultative departments (therapeutical, surgical and paediatrics) run about 1000 consultations and medical examinations daily.

The Centre also comprises functional and ultrasound diagnostics departments, computer and magnetic resonance tomography departments (CT & MRT); X-ray diagnostics department, endoscopy department; cytomorphological, immunological and biochemical diagnostics laboratories.

First magnetic-resonance tomograph in Republic of Kazakhstan with a magnetic tension of 0,5 Tesla functions in CT & MRT department. The Centre is the first medical institution in Kazakhstan which is introducing the latest technologies and Internet in its daily practice.
